About Dr. Chris

Dr. Chris grew up in Binghamton, New York then later graduated from the University of Maryland in College Park where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology and Physiology in 2005. Dr. Chris worked for multiple years in various industries before finding his true calling in Chiropractic. He attended the University of Western States where he graduated with degrees in Doctorate of Chiropractic and Masters of Sports Medicine in March 2020. He has been active his entire life, participating in numerous endurance events, including Ironman triathlons and ultramarathons. In addition, he enjoys surfing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, and rock climbing to name a few.

Dr. Chris believes movement and activity is a vital component to a person’s overall health and longevity, although the musculoskeletal system is only one component of the body functioning as optimally as possible. His approach to treatment includes taking into account the body’s other systems, and how those systems work together, and affect each other. Dr. Chris provides treatment for those aiming to improve upon or maintain their current level of health, as well as providing treatment for acute and chronic sports, accident related, or various other injuries, as well as minor aches and pains from everyday life. In addition to the spine, Dr. Chris is proficient in injury prevention and treatment of the extremities, including, but not limited to the shoulders, wrists, hips, knees, and ankles. He takes into account each individual’s current situation, and goals moving forward. As optimal health does not start and stop while in the clinic, Dr. Chris provides at-home/work tools to aid in the prevention and treatment of disorders, including exercise, stretching, and nutritional guidance.

Our Philosophy

Optimal health and overall performance can be attained through the proper balance of exercise, nutrition, and care of the body’s framework (skeleton and muscles). In addition, maintaining a state of good health depends on a normally functioning nervous system. The most important and delicate organs of the nervous system are supported and protected by the skull and spine, and when misaligned these structures can irritate and interfere with the nerve impulses that send messages to and from the brain.

As a doctors of chiropractic, we locate these points of interference and correct the spinal and cranial misalignments so the body can re-establish its balance and heal itself to the best of its ability.
